Last night the full moon was here and a friend wanted to go out and try some photos so tonight we headed out to Gnangara pine plantation. There were a few jokes thrown back and forth about hiding a body out there and Blair Witch which became a bigger joke later when we were trying to find the car and found a huge hole in the fence we didn't see coming in with a huge deformed log. This was my first go at trying star trails. It was a 10 minute exposure with the ISO on 100.
Stop number 2 was at Perry's Paddock. I used to live nearby, I really miss that house. Mostly I miss the days of just not being able to hear what my neighbours get up to.
This photo was a 20 second exposure to try star trails again. They're really hard to see so I'll have to do some research on the best way to get them..my guess is not being in the city with all the light pollution is a good start. Oh yeah and no full moon.
All the small dark grey dots are dirt on my lens, which is bound to happen when you're sitting in dirty fields but you can't tell in the darkness!
